When you create an account with Para Po!, we collect:

  • Email Address: Used for account creation, authentication, and communication purposes.

2. Location Data (Critical Information)

Para Po! is a GPS alarm application that requires access to your device's location services. We collect:

  • Real-Time GPS Coordinates: When you set an alarm, we actively track your current location to determine when you approach your designated destination and trigger the alarm.
  • Destination Coordinates: The GPS coordinates of the location you set as your alarm destination.
  • Location Tracking Duration: Location data is only collected when an alarm is actively set. We do not track your location in the background when no alarm is active.

How We Use Location Data:

  • To provide the core functionality of the App (triggering alarms when you reach your destination)
  • For analytics purposes in anonymized and aggregated form
  • To improve our services and user experience

Location Data Retention:

  • Individual location data points are retained for up to 3 months for analytics purposes
  • After 3 months, all personally identifiable location data is permanently deleted
  • We may retain anonymized, aggregated location data for longer periods for analytical purposes

3. Automatically Collected Information

When you use Para Po!, we automatically collect:

  • Device Information: Device type, operating system version, unique device identifiers
  • Usage Data: App features used, frequency of use, session duration

When you delete your account, all associated personal data will be permanently deleted within 30 days.

Location Permissions

Para Po! requires access to your device's location services to function properly. You can control location permissions through your device settings:

  • Android: Settings > Apps > Para Po! > Permissions > Location

Important: Denying location access will prevent the App from functioning as intended.

Children's Privacy

Para Po! is not intended for use by children under the age of 13 (or 16 in the European Union). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. International Data Transfers

Your information may be transferred to and processed in countries other than the Philippines. Our database services (Convex) are hosted in the Asia region. We currently do not display advertisements in Para Po!. Should we decide to implement advertising in the future, we will:
